Clean up what you eat 80% of your results come from your nutrition. If your not eating clean you wont be able to get ride of that fat that's hiding all the hard work you do at the gym. Clean eating is not a diet its a way of life don't get me wrong I do have a cheat day but my indulgence is a healthy cheat like whole wheat apple muffins smothered in honey yum. I don't eat fast food or candy bars I make my food so I know whats in it. You must eat clean to lose body fat that meas no processed foods which means eating food in it natural state. Eat lean meats, seafood, healthy fats, fruits, veggie and drink lots of water I drink a gallon if not more a day and eat ever 2-3 hours. You have to plan, you must come up with a meal plan for the week a prepare extra so you always have health food on hand. Also listen to your body when it full. Food also plays a part when you don't feel good. When you feel like your drained have head aches, mood swings, your face is breaking out, check what your eating. I know for me I have a intolerance to alot of foods if I'm not careful I can be what I call a walking zombie for days tell it leave my system. Food is a very important fuel for or body's. If you think you may have intolerance's you can get blood work done or start eliminating certain foods for 2 weeks and see how you start feeling like I said listen to you body. Ill give you a example of a grocery list of must have food I buy ;-)
Veggie---asparagus, squash, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, bell peppers, cucumbers, the list can go on and on this to me is a free food eat as much a you want ;-)
Fruit---Apples, pair, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberry, watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, bananas, don't eat fruit all day have it with your protein shake or with breakfast. If you want to lean out more start eliminating it. But for people just starting the journey on eating right I say eat fruit if your detoxing your body from possessed sugars fruit will help with the cravings.
Meats---eggs, chicken, red meat, bison, seafood-fish, turkey, pork (watch your body on pork allot of people feel bloated)
Dairy/Beverage---milk, coconut milk, rice milk, almond milk, soy milk, (see what works for your body really listen to your body on this I can only have unsweetened coconut milk and a little bit of milk ), Low fat cheese, teas bags, ready labels some do add sweeteners, coffee, WATER
Healthy fats---olive oil, coconut oil, avocados and avocado oil, almond, walnuts, seeds pumpkin, sunflower, hemp, etc. natural butters, pistachios, flax seed all nuts and seed should be raw.
Complex carbs---oats, yams, sweet potato, quinoa, Ezekiel bread, brown rice, whole wheat bread (read the labels I make my own also I don't really eat this unless its a cheat day it bloats me)
Condiments--- all herbs, mustard, vinegars, cinnamon, Stevie, Xylitol , honey, real maple syrup
Protein powder--- If you can have protein powders I recommend whey for post w/o and for night a casein, If you cant have protein powder try Jay Robb egg white protein or use liquid egg white, and for night have some cottage cheese.
Hope this help ;-)
